We surprised the girls and got a puppy about a week ago. She is adorable! She is a chihuahua/dachshund mix and the girls just love her. We named her Pepper. I forgot how much work puppies are but have survived the first week and I think we are off to a great start.

I'm very impressed - Gary and I are "cold and dead inside" when it comes to animals. I always planned on having a pet as soon as a got my own home, but once I had kids - BAM - no desire. Sad, but true...
